Emory Academic Team Site Updated

After a month of playing around with Dreamweaver, Emory Academic Team webmaster and vice president Laura White has given the team's website a complete overhaul, resulting in the page you are now viewing. Following a request from incoming president Peter Clericuzio, White spent a few weeks messing around with the html on her blog before finally turning to the EAT site on a Sunday night after drinking a few too many cups of coffee. Visitors to the site are directed to the new information on the Emory Fall Classic, the EAT's fall high school tournament, which can be found by clicking on the link in the navigation bar at top.

EAT Practice Regular Mark Dawson Wins Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions

A familiar reader and Trash player on the Southern quizbowl circuit, Mark Dawson became a regular fixture at Emory practices during the 2002-2003 season as he prepared for his return to Los Angeles this past May. Apparently Mark can keep a secret — we knew he had game, but we had no idea he'd end up winning the tournament. Congratulations, Mark!

In other news, the Emory College Council is buying the EAT a new buzzer system. (Finally.)
